Stepping Around
They’d left their soccer ball at the curb. Mattie courteously didn’t punch a hole in it with her teeth.

Still Wanting Kids

Mattie Investigates
Two pictures today – another of Mattie looking at kids and then one of her showing us a branch she found. She was all over the branch for a good five minutes. I guess she was smelling birds.

Mattie Sees a Horde
There were a whole bunch of kids on the playground. This is how Mattie reacted. She wanted to meet them all and go play with them. It means she’s pretty well adjusted again. Of course, none of the maintenance men think of her as a sweet, playful dog.

On the Hunt
Mattie saw something that sparked her interest. She just -had- to look and keep looking.

Mattie Suspicious of Others
Mattie loves meeting other dogs individually. In packs, like they are around here frequently, she gets a bit upset. This is a picture of her in the process of meeting several other dogs (about six) at the park on Saturday. You can see she’s not thrilled. She eventually pulled out her power sitting move.

Sharr on Patrol
Mattie at the park again last Saturday. She’s spotted a bunch of kids and dogs on the other side of the path.

Out in a Field of Her Own
In the second picture, Mattie’s not far from the tree she’d been sniffing earlier, just posing for a picture.

We walked to the park today and Mattie was eager to get there. So eager, in fact, that she jumped the barrier to the grass and went right into sniff mode. You can see the sign with the park name on it in the background. The park’s about two to three blocks big and always has a swarm of dogs. It’s also where the local Saturday and Tuesday market is held.
