There were a whole bunch of kids on the playground. This is how Mattie reacted. She wanted to meet them all and go play with them. It means she’s pretty well adjusted again. Of course, none of the maintenance men think of her as a sweet, playful dog.
Mattie loves meeting other dogs individually. In packs, like they are around here frequently, she gets a bit upset. This is a picture of her in the process of meeting several other dogs (about six) at the park on Saturday. You can see she’s not thrilled. She eventually pulled out her power sitting move.
Mattie gets really close to the walls when she walks. I think it’s because that way she can pick up more scents. She stops and sniffs frequently. Sometimes I have to drag her to get her moving again. And sometimes she comes across another dog behind a gate.
Mattie got distracted by a loud noise and just had to stare. It was the workers taking down some of the market stalls from the market earlier in the day. She watched until something else caught her attention.
All the video was taken on this last Sunday morning, which was a cloudy day after a night of storms. You can tell she didn’t care, although she was a bit tired. The water is really good for strengthening her leg after her surgery. Anyway, enjoy Mattie wading.
