Lots to Look At

Enjoying the Scenery

Mattie likes to watch the stuff in the park sometimes, just sitting and watching the people go by.  She gets lots of looks herself.

Mattie, every once in a while, just poses for a picture.  This was one of those times.

I’m not sure what she smelled, but she was very, very intent.

They’d left their soccer ball at the curb.  Mattie courteously didn’t punch a hole in it with her teeth.

Two pictures today – another of Mattie looking at kids and then one of her showing us a branch she found.  She was all over the branch for a good five minutes.  I guess she was smelling birds.

Wanna Play

Mattie Sees a Horde

There were a whole bunch of kids on the playground.  This is how Mattie reacted.  She wanted to meet them all and go play with them.  It means she’s pretty well adjusted again.  Of course, none of the maintenance men think of her as a sweet, playful dog.

What Was That?

Mattie saw something that sparked her interest.  She just -had- to look and keep looking.

Friends?

Mattie Suspicious of Others

Mattie loves meeting other dogs individually.  In packs, like they are around here frequently, she gets a bit upset.  This is a picture of her in the process of meeting several other dogs (about six) at the park on Saturday.  You can see she’s not thrilled.  She eventually pulled out her power sitting move.

Up Close

bythewallMattie gets really close to the walls when she walks.  I think it’s because that way she can pick up more scents.  She stops and sniffs frequently.  Sometimes I have to drag her to get her moving again.  And sometimes she comes across another dog behind a gate.
