Following the Tracks

We went out to the country last weekend, and Mattie got to re-experience non-city life.  She really liked getting out in the open.  There is an old railroad station in Valle Eden, the village we stayed in.  Mattie wandered down the tracks exploring.

Peekaboo

Peekaboo, I see you!  Mattie decided to go under Andreas’ desk instead of mine one evening.  It’s a lot smaller under there, but she just wanted to.

A Beach of Her Own

Mattie gets to enjoy the beach all by herself.  It’s certainly a rarity these summer days!

Mattie likes to smell the flowers in other peoples’ front yards.  I’m not even going to speculate as to the reason.

Kosovar Trash Retriever

The Kosovar Trash Retriever, otherwise known as the Sharr Mountain Dog, supplements its diet through the indiscriminate retrieval of items from any trash can it finds.  In this case, the supplement is an empty bag of potato chips, which she makes quick work of.

Something got Mattie’s attention and she just had to look.

When sitting on the beach.  Mattie in sheepdog mode on the beach, watching everyone around.

Peanut Butter Success

We cut the top half of the peanut butter jar off and Mattie enjoyed the rest of the creamy goodness.
