Distractable Sharr

There was a loud noise...

There was a loud noise...

Mattie got distracted by a loud noise and just had to stare.  It was the workers taking down some of the market stalls from the market earlier in the day.  She watched until something else caught her attention.

Warming Back Up

Sunning

Sunning

Mattie likes to lay down in the sand after wading.  She rests and dries and warms back up – the water’s definitely got some cold pockets in it.

A Mattie Video

A Cloudy Day

All the video was taken on this last Sunday morning, which was a cloudy day after a night of storms.  You can tell she didn’t care, although she was a bit tired.  The water is really good for strengthening her leg after her surgery.  Anyway, enjoy Mattie wading.

This is Mattie shaking off the wet from her coat after a thorough romp in the water.  This time, she didn’t quite spray me.

A Rest

Close Sharr

Squeezed In

Mattie got under the desk the other day.  She wanted to be close and walked all the way in the desk to pop out the other side.  She stayed there for hours, too.

Here are a few more pictures of Mattie by the water at the end of the street.  She really loves just exploring everywhere, and she’s able to lead me home when we get off the “right” path.

Standing in the Water

Standing in the Water

This is the part of the shore at the end of our road and across the Rambla.   As you can see, it’s rather rocky and hard to get to.  That doesn’t stop Mattie.  She plunged right in and explored the cove, sniffing at all the rocks.
